UCW Donate Care Packages
In May, 2024, 25 personal care packages containing toothpaste, toothbrush, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, a comb and a hairbrush, along with $725 for gift cards for any unforeseen needed items to Kathy Moodie, from SARA for Women. Clayburn Dental, Otter Foods Co-op, Save-On-Foods foods donated supplies and monies to make this a reality.

UCW Spearheads the Refurbishment of the Church's Lounge
UCW spearheaded the lounge refurbishment project in Aug, 2024. New comfortable chairs and flip-top tables, all with wheels, were purchased with New Horizons funding. The sale's revenue from the old chairs and tables was enough to purchase paint and UCW and the Maintenance volunteers repainted the walls and doors. UCW purchased a new glass magnetic write board so that speakers would have a surface to write notes on. The magnetic board can be used to post posters on, rather than damage the walls by taping posters.
